Busy Busy Summer

It has been a crazy busy summer. And actually although most of that has been work related, and I have been out in the field most of the summer; in my off time (which is slim) I have managed to say "forget obligations" and have decided that sometimes, a good time is more worth it than doing laundry and catching up on my weeding. Surprisingly I have made some new friends this summer, turned some acquaintances into good friends and have travelled a bit. Over the next few days I'll post some photos from my birthday trip to the coast as well as some of the other things I've been up to. I'm a little behind in posting but such is life for a wildlife bio in the summer months. This past July I was fortunate enough to have my little brother come out from Chicago, my best friend Jon come out from Klamath Falls, OR, and I got to spend time with my wonderful husband.....my 3 favorite guys in the whole world. We went crabbing with my neighbors and their family that were also visiting the coast, and my brother and I spent a little time in wine country, and the beautiful town of Bandon. It really was a great trip and one that I managed to capture the finer moments with on my new camera. Here are some of the photos. The beautiful little pup up there is none other than Jon's new love Ellie Mae. She made her first swim on this trip and I was able to capture her diving into the cold waves of the pacific ocean. She was quite taken with the water after that.
Well I hope the summer finds you all well and enjoying life.
I'll be back with some more photos from the coast and I'll be posting some of my latest pieces of artwork on my craft site soon,
I have been a busy one for sure!
Cheers
S
